These Peanut Butter Pretzel Balls are a perfect sweet-and-salty treat! Creamy peanut butter is blended with honey and crushed pretzels, then coated in rich, semi-sweet chocolate for a snack that’s both crunchy and creamy. A quick and easy no-bake dessert that’s sure to satisfy any craving!

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 20-24 balls 1x

Ingredients

• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
•1/2 cup honey
•1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
•1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels (use mini pretzels or break regular ones into smaller pieces)
•1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
•1/4 teaspoon salt (optional, for extra salty flavor)
•1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pretzels: Start by crushing your pretzels. You can do this by placing them in a resealable plastic bag and gently smashing them with a rolling pin, or use a food processor for a finer consistency. You’ll want some chunks for texture, so don’t pulverize them completely.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt (if using). Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add Powdered Sugar and Pretzels: Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Then, fold in the crushed pretzels, mixing until evenly distributed throughout the dough. The dough should be thick and slightly sticky.
  4. Form the Balls: Roll the peanut butter dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup. You should get around 20-24 balls, depending on the size.
  5. Chill the Balls: Place the tray of peanut butter balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Chilling helps them firm up, making them easier to coat in chocolate.
  6. Coat with Chocolate: While the peanut butter balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler on the stovetop.
  7. Dip the Balls: Once the balls are chilled and the chocolate is melted, dip each ball into the chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated. Use a fork to lift it out, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment paper.
  8. Let the Chocolate Set: After all the balls are dipped, refrigerate the chocolate-covered peanut butter balls for another 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
  9. Serve and Enjoy! Once the chocolate is set, the peanut butter balls are ready to serve! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
