Light, airy, and bursting with sweet strawberry flavor, this easy 4-ingredient dessert is a nostalgic favorite. A smooth, creamy blend of strawberry gelatin, juicy strawberries, and fluffy whipped topping creates the perfect no-bake treat. Ideal for summer gatherings, potlucks, or whenever a simple, crowd-pleasing dessert is needed.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

• 2 (6 ounce) packages strawberry flavored gelatin
• 4 cups water (divided)
• 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
• 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry gelatin with the boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved. You’ll know it’s ready when no granules remain at the bottom of the bowl.
  3. Add 2 cups of cold water and stir well. Refrigerate the mixture until it begins to thicken but isn’t completely set – this is key for the perfect texture.
  4. When the gelatin has reached a partially set state (it should be the consistency of egg whites), fold in the thawed strawberries and whipped topping. Gentle folding is important here to maintain the fluff’s airy texture.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate until fully set, about 2-3 hours.

Notes

  • For perfect texture, don’t let the gelatin set completely before adding the other ingredients
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping to keep the dessert light and fluffy
  • Pat your thawed strawberries dry to prevent excess liquid from affecting the texture
  • For extra flair, reserve a few strawberry pieces and whipped topping for garnish
